CCTV Operator Vacancy – Pittsford, NY
We are working with a Global Security integrator who offer end to end solutions to their impressive portfolio of clients and as part of that, have a monitoring division who are responsible for assisting the company in monitoring the safety and security of various corporate locations.
The Role:
Providing centrally managed Global Physical Security Operations (GSOC) monitoring with event logging and recording, alarm monitoring of intrusion detection systems, emergency dispatch, incident reporting and analysis.
- Receive and log incoming calls both emergency and non-emergency.
- Professional interaction with all levels of client management/personnel, customers, security, first responders and law enforcement.
- Monitor various alarms, CCTV and access control
Requirements:
- Must be able to maintain composure in a professional capacity when dealing with unusual circumstances.
- Must be able to work as part of a team and accommodate a working shift pattern, including nights and weekends.
- Be computer literate and able to pick up new systems quickly.
- Must be able to accurately record and input data.
- Be confident in judgement and act appropriately to situations.
- Comfortable in a high-tech working environment and constant learning for new tools and innovations.
- Must be a car owner/driver due to location.
