Account Director with Finance Background

SUMMARY

We are looking for an Account Director to work with our financial services clients. You'll be leading strategy, managing teams, and be responsible for extensive pitching.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday in our Midtown office, Fridays remote.

• Responsibilities:
• Develop PR strategies for financial clients and guide your team through execution
• Manage day-to-day account operations, keeping projects on track and within budget
• Write press releases, pitches, and other materials
• Pitch stories to journalists and work to secure coverage in financial publications
• Mentor junior team members and help them develop their skills
• Support new business efforts and look for ways to grow existing accounts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, business communications, or related field
• 5+ years agency experience preferably in financial services, or business services industries
• Established media contacts in the financial space
• Exceptional client service skills with the ability to persuade and influence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to self-manage and guide teams
• Highly organized and deadline-driven

To comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, the Company believes the target range of base compensation for this exempt role is $110,000-$135,000/year. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and location.
