Construction Superintendent
Position Title: Construction Superintendent
Reports To: Senior Superintendent/Senior Project Manager
Salary: $79,000 - $90,000/yr.

Position Overview:
The Construction Superintendent will serve as a key member of our project management team, overseeing all aspects of construction operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction and construction management, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering excellence in every project.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, coordination, and supervision of subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards, conducting regular inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources, monitoring progress and identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues, address changes, and ensure alignment on project goals and objectives.
- Enforce safety regulations and best practices on job sites, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance among all team members.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project stakeholders, and company leadership, providing updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
- Mentor and support project team members, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction working on a mix of residential and commercial projects
- Exceptional carpentry skills and a strong eye for detail and quality control
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools, including scheduling, project management, and documentation software.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
