Busy Law Firm in Midtown Manhattan is looking for both a Billing Assistant AND a Billing Coordinator to join its team!
LEGAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED!!!
The Billing Assistant and the Billing Coordinator both play crucial roles in supporting the financial operations of the firm managing billing processes accurately and efficiently. These positions involve preparing invoices, verifying billing information, and maintaining records to ensure timely payments and accurate financial reporting.
EXPERIENCE WITH 3E A HUGE PLUS
Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients based on services provided or products delivered.
- Verify billing data and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain detailed records of billing transactions and client accounts.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with accounting and sales teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Assist in the reconciliation of billing statements to ensure accuracy.
- Support month-end and year-end billing activities and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company billing policies and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- 1-3 years of billing, accounting, finance, or administrative experience (for billing assistant)
- 5+ years experience in a similar position (for billing coordinator)
- Expereince with 3E a plus
- Legal experience a plus
- Knowledge of LEDES billing a plus
- Proficiency in 3E Financial System, e-Billing Hub and Paperless Proforma a plus
- Proficiency in Elite 3E
