Position Summary:
The Oncology Account Manager (OAM) will be responsible for direct promotion of Meitheal oncology biosimilar products and achieving sales goals with assigned community-based oncology customers. Developing and maintaining relationships with oncologists and relevant office staff within assigned territory. Identify opportunities for product utilization in appropriate patient populations. This role will communicate the approved product and patient support program information and provide educational materials and resources to support patients and providers.
Pay range for this position is $130,000 - $180,000. Payrate is determined by considering a person's prior experience and competence.
The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Sales
- Execute sales strategy and product messaging, and identify and pursue strategic/business opportunities with assigned Oncology customers to achieve sales goals.
- Track and analyze market trends, competitive activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Use approved materials to drive product awareness and utilization with various stakeholders in the prescriber office.
- Communicate and collaborate with Key Account Managers (KAM’s) to support customer specific initiatives.
Customer Engagement & Collaboration
- Create and build strong relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals and oncology practices, such as physicians, pharmacists, hospital administrators, and formulary committees.
- Deliver educational programs and presentations to HCPs and their staff to increase awareness and understanding of Meitheal's products.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Marketing teams, Medical Affairs, and Market Access to create and execute effective sales strategies and promotional materials that will help achieve company and territory goals.
- Work closely with Market Access and Field Reimbursement teams to proactively identify payer issues or challenges that limit appropriate patient access and collaborate on solutions for change.
Business Planning
- Lead business planning activities for target accounts and engage cross-functional stakeholders to identify key challenges and opportunities, develop solutions, and implement action plans with specific objectives and timelines.
- Engage multiple internal cross-functional stakeholders--Oncology GPOs, Marketing, Market Access, Trade, and Medical Affairs to coordinate approach to targeted accounts and maximize Meitheal's product opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 5+ years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience with a proven record of exceptional results required.
- Minimum 3+ years success in selling a buy and bill drug required
- Demonstrated history of successful performance in oncology sales with strong customer relationships strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of and ability to navigate diverse and complex oncology customers and their business practices including pharmacy-dispensing clinics, medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement, prescribing protocols, etc.
- Established relationships with key customer stakeholders and decision makers.
- Experience leading business planning activities and successful execution of business plan goals and objectives.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of US health care policies and relevant legal, compliance, regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Buy and bill experience required.
- Ability to understand and explain the clinical and value proposition of our products.
- Ability to accommodate travel >50% of the time.
