Overview
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery travel assignment in Rochester, New York. Start date: July 20, 2026 for 13 weeks. Shifts are 12 hours, four days per week with rotating schedules. Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients across high, moderate, and low risk categories in labor and delivery, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving in a fast-paced unit, with a focus on patient- and family-centered care.
- Float among OB/GYN units as volume and acuity require, participating in care across the OB service and ensuring seamless transitions for patients.
- Monitor fetal status and maternal conditions, administer medications within scope, perform regular assessments, and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies.
- Document care accurately, adhere to clinical protocols and infection prevention practices, and provide patient and family education as part of the care plan.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in New York (NY only)
- Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Required
- Ability to float across OB/GYN units and to work rotating 12-hour shifts in a high-volume obstetric setting
