Role Purpose

Includes creating, writing, and editing communications and materials for a variety of projects and managing digital channels. Plans, develops, and coordinates marketing/communications programs to support business priorities. Mindfully delivers Corning branding/product messages primarily for employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Take initiative or direction from conception through execution on internal comms workstreams
• Support development and execution campaigns and projects that inform employees, build engagement, support corporate objectives, and create inclusive experiences for global employees
• Develop content to be published across multiple channels to reach desked and deskless employees, and advance approvals process
• Support internal communications manager and team on various projects, corporate initiatives, and brand efforts
• Support development of videos, visual presentations, promotional materials, and other deliverables
• Support communications colleagues across internal communications as needed
• Support creative storytelling methods to build awareness and excitement for employee engagement and employee communications
• Ensure materials are compliant with corporate brand guidelines, across all channels

Experiences/Education - Required

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or related field.
• Minimum two years of communications experience, preferably in corporate communications, public relations, journalism, or communications-related field.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to formulate a clear point of view on complicated issues, and create a concise and well-written narrative
• Ability to write and develop global communications content that appeals to employees at various levels of the enterprise
• Skilled at working well under pressure, adaptable to changing project requirements and deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills and detailed-oriented
• Capable of working independently and interdependently
• Ability to take initiative and direction
• Possess a demonstrated work ethic and a commitment to delivering outstanding work
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, moderate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

Experiences/Education - Desired

• Web publishing experience preferred
• Self-motivated to achieve excellence
• Strong interpersonal skills, especially in listening, innate curiosity, problem solving, and influencing
• Ability to work flexible schedules to accommodate global time zones
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with changing requirements
• Customer focused and results driven

The range for this position is $70,350.00 - $96,732.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
