Job Posting - Construction Superintendent (Mixed-Use & Residential | NY)

Lead field operations for high-profile projects in New York.

We're hiring two Construction Superintendents to oversee day-to-day site activities and ensure successful delivery of projects-on time, on budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Locations

• Palisades, NY - Parks, new builds, and renovations

• Newburgh, NY - Mixed-use/multifamily (retail on ground level, apartments above)

About the Role

You'll manage subcontractors, enforce safety, maintain schedules, and serve as the primary field interface with project managers and clients. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and ensure compliance with plans/specifications

• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspections

• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards

• Maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules and site logistics plans

• Conduct daily huddles, toolbox talks, and weekly coordination meetings

• Validate installed work for quality and design intent

• Prepare daily reports and maintain site documentation

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervising commercial or residential construction projects

• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and schedules

• Strong understanding of construction sequencing from sitework through MEP

• OSHA 30 certification preferred

• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling tools (Primavera P6 a plus)

Compensation

$100K-$130K, based on experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Plains, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
