Manage and execute transactions from inception to close, including legal document review and negotiation, coordination with third-party stakeholders, and communication with counterparties. Analyze current macro and micro trends on markets and asset classes by collecting and synthesizing data from various data sources. Build and operate complex models to evaluate return profile and key metrics. Prepare and present investment findings via investment memorandums for internal discussions and investment committees. Source transactions from various channels, including CRE brokerage firms, investment banks, other investment managers, and personal network. Perform various ad hoc projects and analyses related to real estate and the financial markets.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or Real Estate (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus one (1) year of experience within a private equity, hedge fund, investment banking firm, or public real estate investment trust specializing in U.S. real estate transactions.Must also possess the following: One (1) year of experience in real estate investment analysis, loan document review, and real estate transaction execution (from deal inception to closing and post-closing); One (1) year of experience in real estate due diligence, underwriting, and modelling; demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and data analysis, including cash flow projections, leveraged buyouts, and three statement models using various programs such as Excel, VBA, and SQL; demonstrated expertise in real estate due diligence and real estate and corporate investment valuation and underwriting across all property types; demonstrated expertise analyzing and underwriting construction, cash-flowing, and non-cash-flowing real estate transactions across the capital stack, including senior mortgage, mezzanine loans, preferred equity, and common equity; and demonstrated expertise writing and presenting investment memorandums containing investment thesis, risk and mitigants, market analysis, and diligence findings for consideration by an investment committee.Contact: Send your resume to [email protected].
