Business Sales Account Associate

As a Business Sales Account Associate, you will serve as Verizon trusted advisor for small and medium-sized businesses, delivering tailored communication solutions that enhance productivity and growth. Through our comprehensive training program, you’ll gain expertise in Verizon's full suite of business services—including fast speed powered internet, scalable wireless plans, and integrated cloud platforms—enabling you to address each client’s unique operational needs.
Essential Functions of the Business Sales Account Associate Role
- Proactively engage with small to medium-sized businesses to sell Verizon’s wireless, internet, and communication solutions.
- Conduct thorough direct consultations with business clients to understand their specific operational challenges, communication requirements, and growth objectives.
- Deliver tailored presentations articulating how Verizon business services address client needs, enhance productivity, and drive success.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Verizon business products: data plans, fleet management, IoT, and advanced network capabilities.
- Facilitate the entire sales cycle from initial direct contact to successful account activation and basic post-sale follow-up, ensuring a smooth transition for new business clients.
- Effectively address business client inquiries, concerns, and objections with professional confidence, employing strong negotiation skills to secure agreements.
- Accurately input and maintain detailed records of all direct business client interactions, sales activities, and account information within designated CRM systems.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions and market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings in the B2B space, and new Verizon business solutions.
Education & Experience Needed for the Business Sales Account Associate Role
- Relevant experience is advantageous, particularly in roles such as direct sales, B2B sales, retail leadership, account coordination, or any client-facing position requiring strong communication and problem-solving capabilities.
- Individuals at the entry level who demonstrate strong commercial insight and a genuine interest in developing B2B sales expertise are highly encouraged to apply; comprehensive training and development will be provided.
- Proficiency in core office productivity tools, including the Microsoft Office Suite, is expected, along with a willingness to adopt CRM platforms and other business applications integral to the sales process.
