Senior Project Manager Commercial Construction

A well-established construction management and general contracting firm with 50 years of consistent growth is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

This is a high-impact leadership role. You will be the primary driver of project execution owning schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, and client communication. You'll work closely with architects, engineers, and field teams to deliver projects on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage commercial construction projects end-to-end
• Develop scopes of work and manage subcontract procurement
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders
• Conduct frequent job site visits and ensure field quality
• Own all project documentation and reporting
• Process monthly requisitions and manage project financials
• Ensure full compliance with OSHA safety standards
• Mentor and lead project teams

This role requires someone who thrives with autonomy, can manage multiple priorities, and takes full ownership of outcomes.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
• Proven track record managing projects from start to finish
• Deep knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and methods
• Strong contract negotiation and subcontractor management skills
• OSHA certification required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred:

• PMP certification
• Experience with Autodesk Build
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Experience with projects in the $5M$50M+ range
