We're hiring an experienced Bookkeeper <\/b> to support a top -tier client in the construction industry <\/b> . This full -time role is on -site <\/b> in Westbury, NY and offers the chance to work with a supportive team in a dynamic industry. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

What You’ll Be Doing: <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

• Process high -volume <\/b> AP transactions with accuracy and timeliness. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Use NetSuite <\/b> to review and post supplier invoices with 3 -way match. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Requires some A/R skills - will train. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Handle expense reports <\/b> and appropriate GL coding. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Maintain customer and vendor <\/b> records, W9s, and COIs. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Resolve account discrepancies with professionalism. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Prepare check runs <\/b> and wire transfers <\/b> . <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Schedule meetings, travel <\/b> , and support management. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Keep accounting documents organized and accessible. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Provide general support to the Accounting team. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/li><\/ul>

  What We’re Looking For: <\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
  <\/p>

  • 3+ years <\/b> of related office/accounting experience (construction or manufacturing a plus!)<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Strong AP/AR and bookkeeping <\/b> skills <\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Familiarity with NetSuite <\/b> or Oracle ERP is a big plus <\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Detail -oriented <\/b> and ultra -organized <\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Able to multi -task <\/b>and thrive under deadlines <\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Excellent communication <\/b> and interpersonal skills <\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Positive, proactive, and professional attitude <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Associate Degree in Accounting preferred <\/b> , not required <\/span><\/span><\/span>
