Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $20-$25 per hour, depending on practice



Listing description
We are pursuing a Legal adjunct to join our team in Poughkeepsie, NY. The ideal candidate must have previous litigation practice, as well as a strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures. Additionally, practice in employment law is preferred but not required.



Legal adjunct Qualifications required

»Previous practice as a legal adjunct or paralegal, with a focus on litigation

»Excellent communication and interpersonal expertise, with a strong attention to detail

» capability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

»Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures

»Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

» practice in employment law preferred but not required



Legal adjunct Responsibilities:

»Assist attorneys with various legal tasks, including drafting and filing legal documents, scheduling hearings and depositions, and preparing correspondence

»Conduct legal research as necessary and assist with case management

»Manage and maintain client files and legal documents

»Communicate with clients and court personnel in a professional and courteous manner

»Other tasks as assigned by attorneys
