Senior tech writer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Tech Writer to support a Design System project. This role will have cross-functional collaboration across design, development, and product teams. This role will serve as the point of contact to create full documentation of building a component library for specific use cases across multiple digital experiences. the client, ensuring seamless communication and delivery of the build out of a component library within a design system. The component library will serve all customer facing conversational experiences. The ideal candidate will be able to translate complex technical systems and processes into actional documentation for the ability for partners and stakeholders to digest end to end delivery and creation. Being able to collaborate with engineering teams is important but also understand the design perspective is necessary for the environment. The goal of the role will be to create a training guide with a step by step process mapped out as well as imagery to show different phases and concise information to guide future creators. The first phase of work will be a short sprint with the Delivery Team Leads to assess scope and environment and then dive into delivery of a playbook.

Skills and Requirements

·4+ years of experience Tech Writing

Balance of experience with UI/UX and Engineering environments

Knowledge of complex systems

Knowledge of branding, creating guidelines and organizing content

Excellent writing and editing experience

Hands on working in Figma

Knowledge of design system workflows and end to end component design and delivery

Strong attention to detail and proactiveness

Ability to translate complex technical processes into digestible content
