Escrow Analysis Specialist
:
The Escrow Analysis Specialist I will be responsible for providing timely and accurate analysis of escrow accounts in compliance with the guidelines established by investors, Arbor, state and federal regulations. The Escrow Analysis Associate also ensures proper disbursement and collection of property tax and insurance payments and proceeds.
Essential Job Functions (Duties/Responsibilities)
The Escrow Analysis Specialist I will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Perform annual and partial escrow analysis in compliance with investor requirements
- Reviews exceptions related to the escrow analysis, conduct analysis on accounts and works with property tax and insurance teams and other business partners to ensure corrections are processed before generating a final escrow analysis statement
- Review all loans during analysis cycle
- Work directly with internal and external partners to research variances, shortages and overages, to identify and mitigate risk
- Contact Borrower's to advise them when changes are made to their monthly payment
- Maintain system data integrity through verification of system processing and monthly billing statements
- Perform system upgrade testing
- Work Escrow Analysis task assignments
- Monitor/work the [email protected] email box daily
- PIF Deactivate Escrow Rules
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent;Associate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent work experience preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) years'experience in analyzing and reconciling accounts to ensure proper disbursement and collection of property tax and insurance strongly preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrates title experience and/or commercial mortgage lending related to property tax and insurance.
- Excellent analytical skills with an aptitude for determining root cause or underlying circumstances and identifying solutions.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Familiarity with commercial loan terminology and general real estate principles
- Exhibits strong attention to detail and strives for accuracy
- Outstanding organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability able to clearly express ideas thoughts and concepts in a way that is easy to understand
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
Travel: None
Arbor Realty Trust, Inc. offers a competitive base salary and discretionary bonus. The starting base salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000. The specific compensation that will be offered is based on an understanding of the hired candidates' qualifications at the time of hire. Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on employee work performance reviewed during the course of the year. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
