Job Summary

Serve a professional population of ~1,000+ daily with an elevated café program and premium conference & catering services. You’ll lead production quality, food safety, and service consistency in a hospitality-forward, Monday–Friday environment.

What you’ll do

• Lead hot/cold production and daily station execution; uphold recipes, yields, and presentation standards
• Own HACCP documentation, allergen controls, and sanitation compliance (NYC “A” standard expectations)
• Plan and execute conference catering (breakfasts, luncheons, receptions); support VIP/partner events
• Coach and develop cooks; set pars, production sheets, and opening/closing routines
• Support inventory, waste tracking, and cost controls; partner closely with Chef and GM
• Collaborate with front-of-house for on-time service and a polished guest experience

What you bring

• 3–5+ years culinary leadership (Sous or strong Lead Cook) in corporate dining, hotels, or high-volume restaurants
• NYC Food Protection Certificate (required) ; ServSafe/Allergen knowledge preferred
• Proven strength in HACCP, allergen management, and audit-ready documentation
• High-volume batch cookery and event production skills; calm under pressure
• Positive leadership style, hands-on, organized, and guest-obsessed

The details

• Shift: Primarily daytime, Monday–Friday
• Transit: Steps from multiple subway lines and ferries; easy commute to FiDi
