Fitch Ratings is currently seeking a Senior Market Research Associate to join its BRM Structured Finance - Investor Development group based out of our New York office.

About the Team:

This role is based within the Business Relationship Management (BRM) group responsible for investor business development and providing tactical and strategic business support to the US Structured Finance (SF) Team. The role reports to the Senior Director responsible for US Structured Finance Investor Development and works closely with SF senior management and colleagues to achieve strategic goals.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Update and maintain data in the Salesforce CRM system as well as relevant market research
• Develop impactful presentations and other marketing materials in collaboration with senior SF management, the Marketing Department, and other stakeholders as required
• Assist in the group’s research distribution efforts and production of market penetration analyses
• Prepare business development reports and participate in external meetings and conferences
• Contact external stakeholders, organize meetings and prepare materials; lead meetings and outreach as commensurate with experience in the role

You May be a Good Fit if:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, or Economics.
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience; knowledge of debt capital markets is preferred. (Knowledge of structured finance/asset securitization is a plus but not required)
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; experience using Salesforce is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail

FOR NEW YORK: Expected base pay rates for the role are between $85,000 and $95,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individual basis and may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related considerations. Base pay is one component of Fitch’s total compensation package, which may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch, depending on the position.
