Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist – RDMS Registered

Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373

Contract Duration: 9 Weeks (Backfill assignment with strong possibility of extension)

Schedule:

• Night Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• 35 hours per week | 7 hours per day | 5 days per week

Pay Rate: $60.00 – $66.00 per hour

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a qualified and experienced Ultrasound Technologist (RDMS Registered) to support diagnostic imaging services at a healthcare facility in Elmhurst, NY. This is a night-shift backfill assignment with a high potential for extension based on performance and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols

• Ensure accurate imaging through proper patient positioning and technique

• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times

• Operate ultrasound equipment efficiently during night-shift operations

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support timely and accurate diagnoses

• Maintain complete and accurate documentation and imaging records

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a registered ultrasound technologist

• Strong knowledge of general diagnostic ultrasound procedures and equipment

• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts

Education

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist training program

• Military ultrasound training accepted if applicable

Certifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) – ARDMS (Required)

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
