Speech Therapist - Flatbush
A yeshiva located in Flatbush is seeking a qualified Speech Therapist to join our team for the summer and the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, educational environment focused on helping students reach their full communicative potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each student’s unique needs
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to enhance communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress through regular reports
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Current New York State licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Solid understanding of speech and language development and related disorders
- Prior experience working with children, preferably in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
