Hours: 36 hours/week (Guaranteed)

Job Description:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Emergency Department team on a travel contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to perform effectively in high-stress emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting
• Rapidly assess, stabilize, and manage patients with life-threatening conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and perform phlebotomy as required
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and intervene in critical situations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for patient care planning
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities when required
• Ensure patient safety and follow all clinical protocols and standards
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems

Required Qualifications:

• Active New York State RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
• Minimum 1+ year Emergency Department experience (travel experience required)
• Proficiency with MEDITECH EMR system (required)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Ability to recognize and respond to life-threatening situations
• Strong critical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to function effectively in high-pressure environments
