Job Title: Hospital Chief Operations Officer (Contract)

Location: Bronx, NY 10451

Duration: 14 Weeks

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)

Pay Rate: $150/hour

Position Summary:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chief Operations Officer (COO) to provide strategic and operational leadership for a major healthcare facility in the Bronx, NY . Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the COO will oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and excellence across all administrative and clinical support functions. This role requires strong leadership, organizational management, and healthcare administration expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the CEO to develop and execute operational programs, policies, and strategic goals.

• Oversee daily hospital operations, including Facilities Management, Ancillary Services, Clinical Operations, and Emergency Management.

• Ensure compliance with all healthcare standards, regulations, and accreditation requirements.

• Manage budgeting, financial planning, and expense control to align with organizational objectives.

• Recommend procurement of equipment, supplies, and facility modifications in accordance with established policies.

• Lead interdepartmental collaboration and represent hospital departments on internal and external committees.

• Maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and regulatory agencies.

• Drive performance improvement and foster a culture of accountability and service excellence.

• Serve as Acting CEO during the CEO’s absence, providing executive oversight and decision-making authority.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of full-time experience in high-level business or public administration, or as a Hospital Administrator responsible for full operations or major divisions.

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of hospital operations, healthcare laws, and administrative best practices.

• Education: Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Medical Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
