People Operations Associate
Overview
A leading international investment and technology development firm is looking to appoint a People Operations Associate.
The firm seeks a thoughtful, organized, and resourceful associate to join its People Operations team. Members of People Operations play an integral role in managing and continually enhancing the employee experience at the firm. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a global team of human capital professionals in a collegial and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on a variety of cross-functional projects and processes, including operational tasks related to the employee life cycle and experience (e.g., background checks, onboarding, Workday processing, perks, and departures).
- Support policy development for the firm’s global regions and maintain the global employee handbooks.
- Help enhance internal workflows and the overall employee experience by contributing to process improvements and operational initiatives.
- Work closely with colleagues across teams to ensure the effective execution of human capital processes.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree and two to four years of experience in, or exposure to, a human capital function.
- Utmost discretion handling confidential information and high attention to detail, as well as proven operational and project management skills in a high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated learning agility and sound judgment, along with the ability to adapt to changing priorities, consistently meet deadlines, and suggest process improvements.
- Well-developed verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are highly valued.
- Experience with human capital systems (such as Workday) and prior exposure to financial services are preferred.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an interest in learning new technologies are also advantageous.
Company Benefits
The expected annual base salary for this position is $110,000 to $130,000. The compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
