Part-Time Accounting & Data Entry Assistant Company: Rapid Rivet

Location: Farmingdale, NY

Hours: 15–20 hours/week (Flexible: 3 full days or a few hours every day)

Rapid Rivet is seeking a reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounting & Data Entry Assistant to join our team. If you have sharp computer skills, a knack for numbers, and an eager-to-learn attitude, this stable, long-term opportunity is the perfect fit.

While this role sits within our accounting department, the core day-to-day focus is precise data entry, payment processing, and portal management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payment Entry: Accurately enter ACH and check payments into customer accounts.

• Portal Billing: Handle invoicing and billing data entry within various customer portals.

• Cross-Training: Learn our internal order entry system to provide reliable backup support for the department.

• Reliability: You are punctual, dependable, and looking for a long-term home.

• Tech-Savvy: Excellent overall computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Detail-Oriented: High accuracy in data entry; prior experience in data entry or basic bookkeeping is a major plus.
