Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Rochester, NY 14626 (New York healthcare job)
• Assignment Length: 8 weeks (September 29, 2025 – November 24, 2025)
• Shift: 4x10-hour days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2810 - $2890
• Call: 8-10 call shifts per month, including 1 full weekend
• Clinical Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology
• Charting System: Epic (Epic EMR experience required)
• Scrubs: Provided

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab RN and in Interventional Radiology
• Proficiency with Epic charting system (Epic EMR experience required)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to take scheduled call, including weekends
• No local candidates within 75 miles of Rochester, NY
• First-time travel nurses accepted (must have Epic experience)

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations, interventional radiology procedures, and diagnostic studies
• Assist with cardiac stent placement, diagnostic/interventional catheterizations, pacemaker and defibrillator lead extraction, angioplasty, and related procedures
• Monitor and manage patients during procedural sedation and post-procedure recovery
• Circulate and/or scrub for a range of cardiac and interventional radiology procedures
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias, administer emergency medications, and respond to rapid response situations
• Collaborate with physicians, radiology, pharmacy, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain strict infection prevention and isolation protocols
• Float to other nursing units as needed
