Role Overview:
The Digital Education Manager supports the Chief Education Officer and Associate Director of Digital Education in driving innovative arts education solutions that transform how Lincoln Center Education (LCE) engages its students, teaching artists, partners, colleagues, and other learners. The Digital Education Manager works collaboratively throughout the organization [1] in the development, administration, and communication about our digital education programs, priorities, strategies, and related best practices. The incumbent will seek creative content to provide an exceptional user experience for all LCE digital programs.
The Digital Education Manager will project manage the development of the ongoing major digital initiatives for LCE, in addition to supporting the ideation around digital siblings for our in-person arts education programs. This role will also work to ensure seamless communications across the LCE team about our digital work and opportunities for shared resources and collaboration. This role will provide guidance and coaching to the team, around trends, terms, resources, and feedback from users. The incumbent will provide administrative and programmatic support for other LCE programs on an as-needed basis.
The Digital Education Manager will work closely with the IT department to align educational goals with technical solutions. While the role does not demand deep technical expertise, it requires a strong understanding of digital platforms and tools to guide IT collaboration and ensure the effective delivery of innovative arts education solutions.

This role will report directly to the Chief Education Officer, and receive additional direction from the Associate Director for Digital Education.
What you'll get to do here:
- Work as the LCE liaison with other departments on key digital education projects;
- Ideate and support team thinking around ways to expand and improve LCE's digital assets and reach;
- Communicate effectively across the team to create consistency across digital programs and tools;
- Work across LCE to ensure seamless management, coordination, and communication for digital projects
- Lead collaboration and support creative content development for a Web-based VR concert hall experience and other public-facing digital resources;
- Collaborate with colleagues in Marketing and Communications to Recommend and manage creative and efficient strategies for meeting the asset [2] and content needs for multiple arts education programs.
- Scan the performing arts sector for best-in-class and emerging digital and technological trends, practices, and resources, to identify opportunities best matched to LCE's strategic initiatives;
- Provide administrative and programmatic support to the team relative to all cross-departmental timelines and processes for digital education projects;
- Foster effective collaborations with other LCE staff to support digital content development for in-person programs;
- Collaborate across LCE and other departments to scope project requirements, including suggested milestones, timelines, resources, goals, and constraints;
- Ensure timely, high-quality content delivery to and from collaborators and partners;
- Provide regular status updates of the team's progress to LCE's management team
- Stay current with trends, research, and best practices in digital technology, social media, gaming and the performing arts;
- Strive for continuous growth and improvement by seeking out appropriate professional development opportunities, being a fast and curious learner, and embracing opportunities to take on big and sometimes ambiguous challenges;
- Utilize organizational values, good aesthetic judgment, arts education best practices, data analytics, and business intelligence to measure performance and drive success; and
- Act as a leader of best use digital technology within the performing arts and educational spaces.
- Collaborate with IT: Act as the main point of contact between the Digital Education department and IT, ensuring that educational needs are effectively translated into technical solutions by the IT team.
- Recommend and Oversee Technical Initiatives: While the primary responsibility for the actual development and implementation of digital platforms will rest with the IT department, the Manager of Digital Education will provide strategic recommendations and oversee these initiatives to ensure alignment with educational goals.
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Liaise with the IT department for technical support and troubleshooting needs, ensuring that any technical issues faced by the Digital Education team are promptly addressed.

- Bachelor's degree with 3 years experience preferred or equivalent years of related experience required.
- Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative problem solver with clear ways of working.
- Ability to multitask between several projects, clients, and platforms at a time.
- Strong knowledge of emerging digital and social media platforms and trends.
- Familiarity with experiential learning, gamification, and emerging trends in online learning.
- Tech-Savvy, Not Tech Expert: While not expected to have deep technical expertise, the candidate should be comfortable collaborating with the IT team, conveying educational needs, and understanding the technical solutions proposed.

- Interface with IT: Experience working closely with IT departments or technical teams to guide and oversee the development of digital solutions tailored for education.
Note: The Manager of Digital Education role focuses primarily on the strategic and educational aspects of digital initiatives, while the IT department provides the technical expertise and implementation capabilities. Collaborative synergy between the two departments is crucial for the success of LCE's digital education goals.
