Etc. Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This is a unique opportunity to take on a pivotal role in our organization, where you will be responsible for managing our sourcing strategy to optimize supplier performance and cost. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in contract negotiation, ingredients, production planning, supplier management, demand planning, and cost reduction. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will: 1. Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supply availability.
2. Lead contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
3. Manage supplier relationships, including performance reviews, contract compliance, and issue resolution.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and forecast demand, and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
5. Develop and implement production planning strategies, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery of products.
6. Identify and execute cost reduction initiatives, tracking and reporting on savings.
7. Stay abreast of market trends, supplier capabilities, and new technologies to ensure competitive sourcing strategies.
8. Maintain a thorough understanding of the ingredients used in our manufacturing process, ensuring quality and compliance with regulations. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Permanent Strategic Sourcing Manager role will have: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or a related role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost reduction.
3. Strong knowledge of ingredients used in the manufacturing process.
4. Solid understanding of production planning and demand forecasting.
5. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
6. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
7. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
8. Professional certification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement is a plus.
