Key Responsibilities of the IR RN

• Conduct angioplasty, chemoembolization, and liver ablation procedures
• Perform gastro and genitourinary studies including gastrostomy tube placements and nephrostomy
• Handle vascular studies such as angioplasty and dialysis graft interventions
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation effectively
• Uphold infection prevention standards
• Manage dysrhythmias interpretation efficiently

Requirements of the IR RN

• Valid NY License (no pending license)
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology experience
