Back end engineer java

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Back End Developer to join one of their top financial clients in NYC. This person will be joining the Web Engineering team, focused on programming of the clients most trafficked and visible website for consumers. There are a number of new development efforts ongoing to optimize functionality and features within the Loyalty domain. We are seeking a strong back end developer with proficiency in both Java and Kotlin to contribute to these efforts. As the multi year road map progresses, this individual will touch API and microservices development, and should have exposure coding in a cloud environment as migrations will occur long term.

Skills and Requirements

-5+ years experience as a back end developer with Java and Kotlin

-Strong understanding of microservices and API architecture

-Exposure to hybrid cloud environments (AWS or GCP preferred) -Experience with Vertx framework

-Banking/financial services experience null
