The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets.

Fixed Income: Infrastructure & Structured Finance - Vice President / Executive Director

The Fixed Income Division is seeking a VP/ED Structurer with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in infrastructure finance, project finance and asset-backed securitizations for energy and transportation assets. The role will include working directly with clients and the lending, capital markets, investment banking and syndication teams to help pitch, structure, and execute transactions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide bespoke financing and advisory solutions to power, energy / energy transition, and infrastructure clients

  • Create financial models to project cash flows and run analysis in Excel, Intex, Bloomberg and other software applications

  • Work with internal and external counterparts including clients, rating agencies, accounting firms, legal counsel, and others to execute on all aspects of the transactions

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience structuring energy and transportation financings

  • Strong oral / written communication skills and presentation skills

  • Ability to operate collaboratively within a team and train junior team members

  • Creative and strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mind-set

  • An Undergraduate or Master’s degree

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $225,000 and $250,000 per year at the commencement of employment for Vice President, and will be $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment for Executive Director. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
