Little Goat is a chef-driven café, market, and restaurant in Rhinebeck, NY, focused on seasonal cooking rooted in the Hudson Valley. Our menu highlights exceptional local produce, housemade pasta, breads, baked goods, local meats, and thoughtful, vegetable-forward cooking with Mediterranean influences.

We’re looking for passionate, curious cooks who want to work hard, learn, and continue developing their craft in a collaborative kitchen.

The Role

As a Line Cook, you’ll be responsible for the daily preparation, organization, and execution of your station while working closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to deliver thoughtful, consistent food every service.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and maintaining organized mise en place for service
• Executing dishes with consistency, attention to detail, and care
• Communicating effectively with the chef team throughout prep and service
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
• Supporting teammates and contributing to a positive, professional kitchen culture

Full-time and part-time positions available AM and PM shifts available Open 7 days per week

What We’re Looking For

• Professional kitchen experience is preferred, but we’re happy to train motivated candidates with the right attitude.
• A genuine interest in seasonal cooking, vegetables, housemade pasta, bread and pastries.
• Curiosity, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• The ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced kitchen.
• A commitment to producing exceptional food while maintaining a clean and professional work environment.
• Culinary school or formal culinary training is a plus, but not required.

Compensation: $19-22/hour, depending on experience.
