Senior Associate, Provider Programs
About Stellar Health:
Historically, US Healthcare has relied on a fee-for-service reimbursement system where providers are paid based on the quantity of patient visits and procedures, rather than the quality of health outcomes.
At Stellar Health, we help primary care providers put patient health first. Our platform - a mix of technology, people, and analytics - supports providers at the point of care, delivering real-time patient information, activating practice staff, and empowering providers and care teams with incentives that reward the work they are already doing to keep patients healthy. Using the Stellar App, our web-based, point-of-care tool; practices receive a simple checklist of recommended actions that support the best quality care. Providers and care teams are then paid monthly for each action they complete, and Payors save money in reduced healthcare costs along the way.
Stellar is a US-based Health-tech backed by Top VCs ( General Atlantic, Point72, & Primary Venture Partners) with an established product & proven operating model. We’ve shown that we make a real difference for physician practices and their patients.
About the position:
The Senior Associate, Provider Programs is a data-intensive operational role responsible for executing and optimizing Stellar’s core provider programming. The role is part of our larger Provider Success team that works closely with primary care practices using the Stellar application to improve patient outcomes. This standardized programming for all medical groups drives exceptional provider experience and builds user independence.
In this role, you will turn data into action by using performance metrics to design provider incentive initiatives and managing the messaging that excites providers to participate. You aren't just managing datasets; you are identifying patterns in provider behavior, automating manual workflows, and proposing communication frameworks that resonate with our network.
How you'll make an impact:
By 3 months you will…
- Lead the end-to-end monthly lifecycle of provider incentive programs, managing all administrative execution and collaborating with Customer Success to align on provider eligibility and budget allocations.
- Lead the bulk launch of provider communications via email and in-application messaging tools each month.
- Design and execute internal application walkthroughs and pop-up notifications to guide providers through the platform and alert them to new opportunities.
- Serve as the main point of contact on provider programming to share monthly updates across the organization and keep everyone aligned on upcoming initiatives.
- Establish a consistent cadence for reviewing monthly program results, translating raw data into actionable summaries for leadership to evaluate the effectiveness of current initiatives.
By 6 months you will…
- Stand up an internal ticketing process to centralize manual tasks across the team, and complete the manual tasks on a regular cadence.
- Propose new outreach programs and identify the most effective communication types for different provider segments.
- Assume full responsibility for program documentation. This includes updating internal resource pages (Notion) and formalizing Standard Operating Procedures.
- Run analysis and data tests to evaluate program interventions, setting up experiments to see what specifically drives provider behavior.
- Propose recurring manual tasks that can be optimized through AI and automation to increase team efficiency and strategic system improvements.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Equivalent practical experience in these specific areas will also be considered.
- 2–4 years in Healthcare Operations, Program Coordination, or Data Analytics. An interest in the provider journey or prior healthcare exposure is a plus.
- Comfortable handling and analyzing large datasets. Advanced Excel skills are required.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead conversations with internal teams and draft professional language that resonates with healthcare providers.
- Exceptional task management skills and project coordination skills
- A genuine interest in the provider journey or prior healthcare exposure.
Who will love this job:
- You enjoy the technical challenge of managing tens of thousands of rows of data, but you find it even more rewarding to see that data drive real-world behavior.
- You are someone who naturally looks for ways to automate manual workflows and create structured SOPs to help a team scale.
- You thrive in roles where you are the "connective tissue" between different departments, such as Product, Operations, and Analytics..
- You want to move beyond just reporting and start proposing new outreach strategies, communication frameworks, and experimental setups.
