Frontend Engineer, Platform

Patreon is the best place for creators to build exclusive content and community for their fans. We enable creators (podcasters, writers, musicians, illustrators, etc) to connect with their fans directly and make money from their creative work . Creators can sell one-off items from their own shops or offer recurring monthly memberships with exclusive access to their work.

We’re continuing to invest heavily in building the most talented team in the Creator Economy and are looking for a Frontend Platform Engineer to support our mission.

This role is based in New York or San Francisco and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.

About the Role

• Work with a fully cross functional team to define and deliver new marketing content and features.

• Maintain and support the platforms that deliver Patreon’s marketing sites.

• Work closely with the frontend platform team to maintain and evolve the infrastructure and tooling supporting Patreon’s flagship application.

• Support key product launches and company announcements.

About You

• 3+ years of experience developing web applications.

• In depth knowledge of Javascript, Typescript, React, HTML & CSS.

• Familiarity with Next.js and/or Nuxt.js.

• Excited to maintain a high standard of quality and craft with an eye for user experience and engineering details.

• Proactive in communicating with your peers and cross-functional partners.

• A track record of building beautiful, performant, and scalable websites.
