Two Bridges Youth Market Manager
$26/hour | Sundays Only | Seasonal Position
Hamilton-Madison House is seeking a dependable, organized, and community-oriented Market Manager to oversee operations for the Two Bridges Youth Market during the 2026 market season. The Youth Market provides fresh produce to local residents while creating leadership and employment opportunities for young people in the community. Season Dates: Early June – November 30, 2026 Schedule:Sundays, approximately 6:30am – 5:30pm
Responsibilities Include:
Supervising and supporting youth staff during weekly market operations
Managing market setup, sales, customer service, and breakdown Handling cash, EBT, Health Bucks, and FMNP coupon transactions Coordinating weekly produce orders and inventory
Picking up produce from Tompkins Square Greenmarket Supporting nutrition workshops and community outreach
Managing weekly recordkeeping and sales deposits
Qualifications: Experience with farmers markets, produce sales, or community food programs preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience working with youth preferred Driver’s license required Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate degree required Familiarity with EBT/Health Bucks/FMNP systems is a plus Important: This is a Sunday-based position requiring consistent attendance throughout the market season. Limited absences are strongly preferred due to the operational nature of the role.
