Ophthalmologist, Full Time - Rare opportunity in Hudson Valley (Village of Goshen)
Well-respected 5-MD practice with a 40-year history looking for an early or mid-career ophthalmologist to fill an open position due to impending retirement of a partner. We are 1 hour northwest of NYC in the breathtaking natural beauty of the Hudson Valley - an area filled with outdoor recreation, lower cost of living, top ranked schools, and a safe and beautiful family environment. The population in the area is growing significantly with corresponding increase in demand for eye care. Possible to live half an hour away from work and from NYC.
Current services include general ophthalmic care, surgical and medical glaucoma, oculoplastic surgery, strabismus/peds, and corneal surgery. We can welcome a new colleague with subspecialty training in any of these areas, but currently have the most need for cornea and anterior segment.
EHR / dedicated scribes & techs / very attractive call schedule / high earning potential / partnership after 2-3 years of employment. This is a physician-run practice not affiliated with a hospital system or private equity group, and we intend to remain independent. Starting salary $300,000. Partnership optional.
