Job Description

• Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including GAAP and other relevant policies.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
• Manage and mentor the Accounting & Finance team to promote professional development and operational excellence.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful NAM Chief Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in the Retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams.
