Colton RV is seeking a Retail Parts Sales Associate, based out of our Blasdell, NY Facility. In this position, you are tasked with ensuring customers are set for success and on the path to their ideal camping experience. You get to teach people how to use their new RV and then outfit them with accessories to help make their experience more enjoyable. The workdays are fast-paced, and you are rewarded for excellent customer service.

Your accountabilities include:
- Greet and assist the retail guests promptly, providing excellent customer service
- Provide customers with New & Used RV orientations**
- Effectively communicate with customers to help make their experience enjoyable
- Stay up to date on products and services offered by Colton RV
- Ensure the parts department is kept clean, organized, and stocked maintaining merchandise displays
- Listen to customers wants, needs and issues, research for the solution, sell what they need
- Upsell customers on over-the-counter retail items to increase average sales ticket
- Call to current and past customers to see if all their needs are met and recommend other solutions
- Assist in other WNY area locations as needed
**Orientations happen on occasion and not a main part of the Blasdell/Lake Avenue retail associate's duties
To be successful you will need:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic computer skills, required
- Basic business math skills, required
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service ability
- RV experience and knowledge, a plus
- Previous experience in a Dealership or Auto Parts Retail Store, preferred
- Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers clearly and effectively
- Motivated and self-driven individuals with a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain focus and organization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to learn new products and skills and be able to effectively explain to customers
- Willingness to work weekends and flexible schedules as needed

About Colton RV
In 1962 Old-Boy Bill Colton started an Auto Upholstery Business where he focused on the custom interiors of the most rad-ist vans of the 60's, 70's and 80's. A cultural shift in the early 90's away from the rad interior custom van market led to a new opportunity for Old Boy's two sons, Chris and Jim.
The growing camping culture in the U.S. created a need for more RV dealerships and the Colton boys jumped in with both Feet. Growth of what we know today as Colton RV came steady in the early years and exploded in the mid 2000's. Today, Colton RV is the Largest Family Run RV Dealer in New York State and has expanded its operations into Pennsylvania as part of our five-year vision of growth.
