MTA Change/Task Order Project Manager--NYC NY
Your impact
We’re seeking a talented individual to perform various Project Management tasks related to Change Orders and Task Orders within OMNY Operations & Services (O&S). You’ll report to the Commercial Management Lead and the MTA Change/Task Order Project Manage r is responsible for effectively managing multiple discrete tasks and providing support to the Commercial Management Lead, Deputy Commercial Manager, and the rest of our team. In this key role, you’ll arrange and/or lead meetings, coordinate comments and responses between stakeholders and contractors, create and maintain logs and reports, coordinate, and confirm shipping, storage, and inspections. We’ll lean on you to draft and issue responses to contractual letters in coordination with senior team members, conduct site visits, research and summarize information from contract documents, perform data analysis tasks in excel and collaborate with multiple user groups, stakeholders, and contractor representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build strong internal and external relationships to provide a productive and efficient work process.
• Ensure realistic expectations are defined and communicated to all involved parties
• Proactively manage the interface with MTA Departments, MTA Agencies, and external entities.
• Obtain and provide pertinent information to support the management of the project budget and schedule.
• Expeditiously respond to requests to ensure effective project coordination throughout the project work processes.
• Possess excellent computer skills within the Microsoft Office Suite
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Provide support to track project progress and perform analysis of bottlenecks, trends and critical path
• Identify and communicate project risks and develop mitigation plans
• Develop custom area project reports and procurement process documentation as needed to facilitate project coordination
• Willingness to travel and visit MTA project sites
• Track project deliverable & monitor physical percent complete within assigned area.
• Exhibit professionalism by establishing effective relationships with stakeholders and gain their trust and respect
• Conducts business activities in an honest, forthcoming manner and follow through on commitments
• Manages individual time by building due dates into assignments and then prioritizes work to accomplish more in less time

Here's what you'll need
• 3-5 years of relevant Project Management task experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field (OR) we'll accept 7 plus years of relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel and visit MTA project sites.
• Basic experience and understanding of estimating and benchmarking.
• Good interpersonal and collaborating skills.
• Good organization and prioritization skills to execute work accurately and largely self-directed, handle multiple priorities, and analyze reports and trend activities.

86,000.00
Posted Salary Range: Upper
117,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $86,000.00 to $117,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
