This role is based predominantly in New York City and reports directly to the Manager of Entrepreneur Selection.

About the role:

Endeavor’s mission of building entrepreneurial ecosystems begins with identifying and selecting the fastest-growing, most aspirational founders and businesses. The Entrepreneur Selection team oversees Endeavor’s worldwide pipeline strategy and evaluates candidate entrepreneurs at the final stages of the selection journey. As an Analyst on this team, you will evaluate a wide variety of companies progressing through the candidate pipeline, and prepare in-depth written profiles on key business elements, including the product, market opportunity, and growth strategy. You will also work with our team on strategic and operational projects, while building an understanding of Endeavor’s markets.

You will work directly with founders and CEOs of high-growth scaleups, as well as with colleagues from around the world, to understand and present businesses across a wide variety of sectors including - but certainly not limited to - enterprise software, fintech, digital health, logistics, e-commerce, and sustainability.

In addition to candidate company analysis, you will also be responsible for analysis of trends of entrepreneurial activity across Endeavor’s 35+ markets, as well as the collaborative execution of monthly International Selection Panels (ISPs). During ISPs, we gather select business leaders from Endeavor’s worldwide network - top founders, investors, and operators alike - to evaluate entrepreneur candidates on their fit with Endeavor's selection criteria. ISPs take place both virtually and in-person, with the potential for travel opportunities for staff - recent ISPs have taken place in Dubai, Warsaw, and Cambridge; with five exciting destinations planned for 2026!

  • Conduct business analysis and profile development: On a monthly basis, construct 2-4 high-quality, polished business profiles for candidates at the International Selection Panel stage
  • Collaborate across teams and stakeholders: Build relationships with Endeavor’s worldwide teams, as well as founders in Endeavor’s selection funnel, while diligencing candidate businesses
  • Study global markets: Analyze and build understanding of emerging markets, venture capital, and industry sectors
  • Keep the bar high: Continuously improve our teamwide internal processes and deliverables - raise the bar on ISP execution, review profiles for superior quality, set example for excellence in selection to our teams worldwide
  • Support strategic projects: Work with other Analysts or senior members on the Entrepreneur Selection team on strategic initiatives spanning operations, product / tech, data, etc .

Who you are:

You are seeking an entry-level opportunity to work with world-class founders, build domain expertise in global entrepreneurship, and enjoy the ride along the way.

  • This is an entry-level position open to recent college graduates. We will also consider exceptional applicants with 1–2 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship, emerging markets, and/or venture capital
  • Relevant work experience at a startup / scaleup, venture capital, finance, consulting, or an international organization; extensive collegiate journalistic experience (particularly business / financial) a plus
  • Experience with or interest in using AI tools to streamline / uplevel processes is preferred
  • Eligibility to live and work in the US required

What you bring:

You are a quick learner and curious thinker, eager to learn about the way businesses and the world work. You communicate clearly and with empathy. An exemplary candidate has:

  • Keen business intuition: You can quickly understand key concepts of entrepreneurship and venture capital while building your skills in interpreting financial statements and metrics, understanding businesses across sectors and geographies, and adapting to new markets. One month, you may work with a Nigerian digital bank; the next, a Brazilian telehealth platform.
  • Effective communication skills: We value strong written and verbal communication skills. You will be expected to produce clear, concise, and objective writing, as well as to edit others’ arguments for clarity. You will collaborate with Endeavor colleagues from cultures all around the world, as well as directly with VIP stakeholders, including leading meetings with top-tier founders.
  • Focused attention to detail: You own your outputs, and catch mistakes before they happen - your deliverables will be shared with high-level stakeholders, including Endeavor’s entrepreneur candidates, ISP panelists, and leadership team.
  • Self-driven organizational skills: We work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. While we are highly-collaborative, you will proactively manage the more cyclical profile development with other strategic initiatives.

Benefits:

  • Base salary: $70K with end-of-year bonus
  • Generous benefits package with monthly health, dental, and vision premiums covered in full
  • 401(k) match
  • Opportunities for international travel, including extended projects in Endeavor offices around the world following your first year
  • Hybrid office environment (3x/week in office)
