Job Summary:

The IT Manager will be responsible for managing the company's technology infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, security, and efficiency. This role will oversee IT projects, support operations, and align technology solutions with business objectives. Note that remote work opportunities are not available for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure, Datacenter Management and Communication: Oversee and optimize on-premise VMWare, Microsoft Azure, datacenter infrastructure, and Avaya phone systems to ensure performance, security and reliability.
• ERP System Leadership: Contribute to the enhancement of SAP and related systems/services while maintaining data integrity.
• Network Operations: Manage WAN and LAN operations, ensuring connectivity and compliance of a Cisco & FortiNet environment upholding industry best practices.
• Server & End User: Proficiency with a majority of Microsoft Office/Windows applications, mobile operating systems, Windows workstations, macOS workstations, Windows/Linux server operating systems, and integrations with databases or Active Directory.
• Policies: Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
• IT Department's Management: Oversee the maintenance and security of the company's IT systems, networks, and hardware.
• Software and Hardware Support: Manage and support enterprise software, databases, and cloud-based solutions.
• Data Security: Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.
• System Upgrades: Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, new technology implementations, and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Support and Guidance: Provide technical support and training to employees.
• Budgeting, Communication and Collaboration: Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement of technology resources.
• Trending and Solutions: Monitor emerging IT trends and recommend innovative solutions.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Certifications: Bachelor's degree (at minumum) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 7+ years of IT management experience in a 24/7 industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Networks: Strong knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and enterprise systems.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Projects: Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across departments.
• On-Premise Virtualization & VM Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize on-premise virtualization environments and virtual computing environments, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization for data hosting.
• ERP Systems Management: Expertise in overseeing ERP systems to ensure seamless integration and functionality across various applications.
• Industrial Control Systems: Extensive exposure to planning, implementing, and supporting industrial control systems from an IT perspective, with experience in Rockwell systems considered advantageous.
• Helpdesk & Asset Management: Proficient in handling regular helpdesk inquiries and managing IT assets, ensuring effective support and resource allocation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
