SPED Tutoring Services, Inc. is an agency that places Special Education teachers in academic settings throughout New York City, serving students in grades K–12.
We are currently seeking licensed Special Education Teachers for an Middle School (6–8) in Queens, NY .
About the Role:
Teachers will work collaboratively in private school settings (including yeshivas, Catholic schools, and charter schools) to support students with special needs. The goal is to help students grow intellectually, socially, physically, and emotionally , in alignment with their Individualized Education Plans (IESPs) .
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid New York State Education Department SWD (Students with Disabilities) certification:
- SWD Early Childhood (Birth–Grade 2)
- SWD Childhood (Grades 1–6)
- SWD Middle/High School (Grades 7–12)
- SWD All Grades (K–12)
- Reading or Literacy Certification (preferred)

- Setting: Private schools (not DOE public schools)
