Assistant Restaurant Manager
Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Floor Manager – (White Plains, NY)
Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience, including direct supervisory or floor management shifts.
Local candidates only (must have a reliable daily commute to White Plains, NY).
Tech Stack Requirements:
Daily operational experience with Toast POS.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel for basic reporting.
Experience with (or ability to quickly learn) 7shifts for scheduling and Tock for reservations.
Physical & Schedule Requirements:
Open availability for closing shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand for 8+ hour shifts and safely lift up to 40 lbs.
Core Responsibilities:
Run live floor service, support front-of-house staff, and handle immediate guest needs or complaints.
Manage day-to-day logistics: answer phones, manage Tock reservations, and organize takeout execution.
Handle initial inquiry intake for private bistro event bookings.
Execute nightly closing procedures, including accurate cash drawer counts and shift drops.
Oversee weekly scheduling and floor coverage adjustments via 7shifts.
