Sign Maker / Graphic Designer (Production)
Signarama East Meadow is seeking a motivated, agile, and coachable Sign Maker / Graphic Designer (Production) to join our growing team. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and thrives in a small business environment.
What You’ll Do
This role supports projects from concept to completion , including:
- Graphic design for signs, banners, decals, and vehicle graphics
- Preparing artwork, proofs, and production files
- Vinyl cutting, weeding, and application
- Digital printing and basic finishing
- Light fabrication and assembly (training provided)
- Occasional on-site installation support (not required daily)
- Working closely with the store manager to meet deadlines and quality standards
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and/or CorelDRAW; experience with sign/print production software such as FlexiSIGN (or similar RIP/print-cut programs) is a strong plus
- Basic knowledge of print production and vinyl application
- Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
- Self-motivated, coachable, and willing to learn
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small team
- Positive attitude and problem-solving mindset
Prior sign industry experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person.
