Key Job Details – MRI Technologist (Rochester, NY)

• Location: Rochester, NY 14642 (New York healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Hospital – Outpatient and General MRI Department
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (September 2, 2025 – November 29, 2025)
• Shift: 2x12-hour shifts/week (Saturday & Sunday, 6:30am – 7:00pm)
• Orientation: Full-time (40 hours/week) for first 2 weeks; flexible day/evening shifts
• Employment Type: Travel MRI Technologist (locum tenens)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2250–$2310

MRI Technologist Qualifications

• Associate degree in Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Radiologic Technology
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting
• BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
• Proficiency with GE or Siemens MRI scanners
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or willingness to obtain
• Skilled in non-contrast exams, routine MSK, neuro, spine, and body MRI procedures
• Strong patient communication and ability to stand for extended periods

Key Responsibilities – MRI Technologist

• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently in a hospital environment
• Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring comfort and clear communication
• Collaborate with physicians to deliver timely and accurate diagnostic imaging results
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant MRI scanning facility
• Document procedures accurately while upholding patient confidentiality
• Provide clinical support and patient care as needed
