Position Title: MRI Technologist (Part-Time 2 Days/Week)

Location: New York NY

Schedule: Overnight Shift 11:00 PM 8:00 AM

Days Per Week: 2

Pay Rate: $68 to $72/hr

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking MRI Technologist for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York NY .

Required Skills & Experience:

• Graduate of an AMA/ Radiologic Technology program

• Active New York State Diagnostic Radiology License

• A.R.R.T. MRI Registry certification

• BCLS Certification

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience with strong hands-on experience on GE MRI scanners

• Prior experience in a hospital environment

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with hospital workflows protocols and imaging procedures

• Strong communication patient care and critical-thinking abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans using GE MRI systems

• Review and screen patient histories safety questionnaires and contraindications

• Position patients safely and comfortably for imaging procedures

• Follow established MRI protocols and adjust technical factors as needed

• Ensure proper functioning of MRI equipment and report any issues

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital standards

• Collaborate with radiologists nurses and other clinical staff to ensure efficient workflow

• Provide excellent patient care and maintain a safe calm environment

• Uphold MRI safety guidelines for patients staff and visitors

• Assist with quality assurance procedures and equipment checks
