Position Overview: As a Paraplanner at Moldenhauer & Associates, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial planning team. You will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing financial data, and assisting in the preparation of comprehensive financial plans. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct research on investment options, market trends, and financial products.

2. Analyze and interpret financial data to assist in the development of client financial plans.

3. Collaborate with financial advisors to gather necessary information for client engagements.

4. Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to support client meetings.

5. Stay informed about industry regulations and changes, ensuring compliance with financial planning standards.

6. Provide administrative support to the financial planning team as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or a related field.

2. FINRA Series 7 & 63 or SIE & 66 & 7; NY Life & Health

3. Previous experience in a paraplanning or financial analysis role.

4. Knowledge of financial planning concepts, investment products, and industry regulations.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Proficient in financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
