This trauma facility provides comprehensive orthopedic surgical services with established protocols for emergency and inpatient care. The facility requires a 90-day credentialing process and covers travel and lodging expenses for locum tenens assignments. The hospital maintains modern surgical equipment and experienced support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

This upstate region offers diverse attractions including Watkins Glen State Park with its waterfalls and nature tours, alongside the Corning Museum of Glass for cultural experiences. Visitors can explore wine tasting opportunities and take advantage of comprehensive day tours that span up to 10 hours, featuring various outdoor activities and wildlife viewing.

The orthopedic surgery nurse practitioner will work three 12-hour shifts covering both day and night shifts from 7a-7p and 7p-7a. The clinician will conduct inpatient rounding, manage all inpatient and emergency department consultations, and provide first assist support in the operating room. No clinic responsibilities are required for this position. Call coverage is required 1-2 weekends per month.
