Hyperion Essbase Consultant

Skills and Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge on Essbase BSO design, development/support and deployment experience.

• Working experience on MAXL, ESSCMD Scripting and shell scripting, partitions

• Hands on experience in Hyperion planning, Essbase, Hyperion FR implementation and support

• Hands on experience on creating and modifying business rules and calculation scripts

• Hands on experience on creating and updating existing FR reports

• Responsible for designing and building Hyperion code as per business requirement

• Experience in requirement gathering, providing solution for Issue

• Knowledge on parallel data loading and optimization techniques for BSO applications

• Performance tuning and enhancements for existing Essbase applications

• Experience in delivering at least two full life cycle implementation of Oracle EPM application that includes Essbase, planning, HFR and projects planning

• Experience in working with or in an accounting, finance or budgeting functions

• Excellent communication and presentation skills within the team, working with onsite/offshore model and managing customer expectation

• Ability to work independently and drive issue to closure

• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts

• Managing stake holders, business communications and coordination between teams will be crucial part of the rule

• Benefit if you have experience in Linux, Unix and windows based planning and Essbase application and handling batch jobs and doing daily maintenance activities.

• Benefit to have PI/SQL working experience.

Responsibilities:

• Work with clients to understand their business requirements and develop solutions using Oracle EPM applications.

• Design, implement, and support Oracle EPM applications, including Essbase, Hyperion Planning, and Hyperion Financial Reporting.

• Develop and maintain business rules, calculation scripts, and reports.

• Perform performance tuning and optimization of Oracle EPM applications.

• Provide training and support to users of Oracle EPM applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, IT or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle EPM applications.

• Strong technical and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
