Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced OB Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in New York. This role focuses on providing direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team in labor and delivery. The work environment requires good communication skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve in a fast-paced setting, with a commitment to patient and family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities of the OB Registered Nurse

• Provide direct care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum (high, moderate, and low risk) patients
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in labor and delivery
• Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve
• Commit to patient and family-centered care
• Orient and train to various competencies/modes of care within the OB service
• Float among units to meet variable needs of volume and acuity

Requirements of the OB Registered Nurse

• RN License (NY ONLY)
• Two (2) years of experience in labor and delivery
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Required
