Job Title: Ultrasound / Vascular Technician – Contract Role

Location: Flushing, NY

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day Shift – 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday–Friday)

Hours per Week: 40

Pay Range: $60–$72/hr (Weekly: $2,250–$2,700)

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Ultrasound / Vascular Technician for an exciting Travel job in Flushing, NY.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular and echocardiography procedures following hospital protocols
• Operate and maintain echo machines including CX50 and Phillips Affinity systems
• Assess patient condition and gather relevant medical history for accurate imaging
• Assist physicians during echocardiography and vascular studies
• Document findings and maintain patient records in EPIC EHR system
• Travel to multiple locations within NYP Queens Medical Group as required
• Maintain infection control, safety, and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

Education & Certification:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of an approved Echocardiography Training Program
• ARDMS Registered in Adult Echo (RCDS) OR CCI (RCS) certification

Experience:

• Previous experience in echocardiography or vascular imaging preferred
• Familiarity with CX50 and Phillips Affinity echo machines
• Experience using EPIC or other electronic health record systems

Skills & Attributes:

• Patient-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to travel to multiple locations within the medical group
• Detail-oriented and able to follow hospital policies and procedures
• Compliant with infection control and quality standards
