Sr. Specialist - Gas Operations Training

Required Education/Experience

• Bachelor's Degree and 3 years full time related experience or

• Associate's Degree and 4 years full time related experience or

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years full time related experience.

Relevant Work Experience

• Experience with various electronic systems used in Gas Operations such as ITS, Oracle, and e-train. Required

• Familiarity with regulatory codes and standards. Required

• Knowledge of Company procedures and policies. Required

• Knowledge of and experience with operator qualification requirements. Required

• Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) and database management systems. Required

• Ability to be well organized, detail oriented, flexible to handle multiple assignments and able to meet deadlines. Required

• Demonstrated experience scheduling, planning and coordinating meetings, events, and other team functions required. Strong oral and written communication skills. Required

• Informal leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders. Required

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to confidently interact with all levels of employees. Required

• Operator Qualified in Gas Construction. Preferred

• Operator Qualified in GDS. Preferred

• Proficiency in a Learning Management System. Preferred

• General Knowledge of Sharepoint /Power App. Preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Performs work independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities

• Demonstrated analytical skills

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.

Licenses and Certifications

• Driver's License Required

Physical Demands

• Ability to respond to system emergencies

• Able to work in all weather conditions, i.e. excessive heat and/or cold

• Ability to work in adverse conditions that include, noise, confined spaces, and high elevations

• Ability to work in inclement weather and adverse conditions (i.e., excessive heat, cold, noise, confined spaces)

Additional Physical Demands

• The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
